The answer lies in how much burn you are facing. The original hammer is still urethane and will by design still roll early as soon as it finds friction, while the bleeder will get you additional length but with today's oil, no idea how it would hit and carry.
I have the original pink hammer and a XXXL plastic. depending on how mcuh of a track I have worn in on the XXXL, it can out hook the pink hammer, or if it is resurfaced and highly polished, it will be straighter than the pink hammer. I would think you'd see the same type of issue with the yellow dot. As it tracks in, it will hook more.
