Have only used my new Taboo in competition a couple of times,but, so far WOW!!!! It clears the heads, rolls heavy in the mid and finishes thru the pins with no deflection. It may well be the best ball I have thrown in recent memory. I drilled it with pin 5" from my PAP and Mass Bias 4" from pap.

Let me first say I don't have either of the Missions (1 or 2) nor the Taboo! I have seen all of them in action. I've always been impressed with the Mission series however from what I've seen of the Taboo I'm NOT impressed! Fact is every Taboo I've seen thrown has NEVER finished the three games. I recall 6 of them in three different leagues .. all start like GANG BUSTERS and most are gone in the 2nd game!

That doesn't mean I wouldn't like to try the Taboo .. just my observations!

Joe, actually that is pretty much the story on the Taboo, or balls like it...They are a Snow Plow... They should only be used on heavy oil, in the oob finish...So what you're seeing is normal... Use it for Game 1 or til the oil moves and put it away... Or Polish it.... But I would not bother to polish it, I would just change balls...Go to a go to type of ball...

The Taboo is not a all round 3 game ball... Great ball when used on the correct shot...

After I drilled the Taboo, I hit it with a 4000 pad just to tame it down a bit. I gotta tell you guys, it kicks the 10 out on half pocket hits like nothing I have ever seen. Give it a chance before you draw conclusions.
