BIG REVS PLAYERS??? HOW DO U DEAL WITH HAVING A LOT OF POWER
« on: February 24, 2005, 01:31:29 AM »
I write this post because i discover that i am a power player and no matter what i do thats my natural thing
For most that i want to slow revs on my ball i just can not do this.,when i do it my phisical game gets a lot worst..so yesterday i discover that sometimes my ball just got to recover a lot of boards when i want to hit the pocket(24 in the arrows ,10 in my breakpoint) in a medium oil condition with a high performance ball...so sometime i discover that my ball is already roll out and lives a lot of 10 pins
how do u handle mentally?
u just accept it and fill every frame with spare when it needs??? its that i just can not stand that i am a 210 average in a sport condition and i can not throw big numbers in house shots.(i have 223 avergae)..and some old player playing around the gutter throws the same score as i because he got more carry playing that part of the lane that i can not play
I hit the pocket constantly but as i told u leaves a lot of 10 pins...what can i do?
Like always sory for my english
thanks in advance

took me two years to transition from cranker to stroker...glad i did though.  more control, more versatility, and still have messengers/carry/etc.

It's gonna take you a while.  You'll have to change over you entire approach, everything, if you wanna go from 500rpm cranker to a WRW stroker.  Good luck.
