starting summer league would like insight
« on: December 25, 2007, 04:14:30 PM »
I was looking into starting a scratch singles league with the oil pattern used by the pros. I already discussed this with the bowling center's owner, figured out a point system to use based on a minimum of 20 up to about 40 bowlers.Dues have been calculated, bowlers per lanes, prize amount. My question is the rules, can you only use the ABC rules & regs or am i able to add rules agreed upon by the our commity and the ABC rules? Also is there any other points that i am missing? any thoughts would be appreciated.

You can use any rule the league approves as long as their is no violation of USBC Rules.  The Rule book provides suggested rules a league may choose to adopt.

It sounds like you are planning a PBA Experience league.  Here is where you can find information that might help Sport Bowling
