vertex mold spinner...

just got my vertex spinner 1/2hp model and it doesnt want to spin all the time. i have to hit the switch on and off and hope it starts up.

is there something wrong with it?

i opened up the switch and it looks fine. it didnt start the first time i even plugged it in... then i got it to spin and turned the switch off and it wouldnt stop. only did it the one time.

I've had zero issues with mine.

I'd contact the place you bought it from and see if you can exchange it.

I second this. I have had mine for over 2 years now with no problems whatsoever. Worked great from day one and is still performing.

found out the problem... in the switch there is a bent piece of metal that is pretty flimsy... it was causing it to just arc instead of making full contact.


looking at the switch im not surprised... looks like the cheapest part of the spinner... but now it works fine.
