Title: One for the little lady
Post by: six pack on January 21, 2018, 09:33:46 AM
My wife is a petite so it's always a little difficult time to find her equipment. I would like to get something long and strong to compliment her long val 300c. I know I could pick almost any entry level ball and layout and hope it works but the weight limit is 13#. She currently has a 150 average but strikes are far and few between. as for specs from my eye speed about 13 and revs about 250.

900 Global Boost. Let her pick her favorite color and call it good. My wife wanted the Bubblegum Boost and it's been a little surprising how much hook she's gotten at times while learning how to get a more consistent release. She also throws 13lbs

at the 13 pound limit majority of balls will have "generic" core shape and not the same as heavier weights................ so you will be getting more from the cover than the core as far as ball motion.............. a choice which has same core design at lighter weights is the Ebonite Cyclone................ cover surface finish can be modified as needed for conditions bowled on.............

Path rising from Pyramid sold by bowlingball.com would fit the bill for her just fine

Not to thread jack but does anyone know of a ball with anything but a pancake core for an 11lb ball?  Guessing not.

Problem with rev dominant (which 250 at 13 mph is kinda) pearl coverstocks jump at the end of the pattern.  I would almost consider urethane an option.
