Title: One more time: BR get together in Dallas

Around a month from now I want to have a BR get together in Dallas.  I have a few names from earlier this summer.  If you are interested in attending and/or have ideas of a center to bowl in please chime in.  I know Don Carter Lanes has a regional going on the weekend of August 28th and 29th.  It will be the only weekend I can make it.  

Hopefully, we can get a few folks together for a meet and greet.

Andrew,

If its on a Sunday, count me in. I might even be able to drag g_thing there as well.. WE could go to Plano Super Bowl in Plano. They have 97 cent a game bowling Sundays from 8am - 1pm.

Pretty sure I'll be bowling the regional in Dallas.  It's a good tournament.

Maybe even a ball rep from Dyno-thane will show up!  I'll talk to Billy Yinger ("other guy" on this board) about that.

Depending on the date and how many people actually plan on showing up, I might make the drive.  I work every other weekend and it's a pretty long drive.

I'm not from Dallas, but I'll be at the regional.

If you guys are planning on doing something that Friday I'll be up for something.

There will probably be a sweeper that Friday after practice session. There are plenty of places to eat near Don Carter West Lanes... not all of them are topless *wink wink nudge nudge*.

I can't coordinate all this, but if one of you will, count me in!

Well, I would prefer a Saturday evening time.  I won't make it to DFW until 6 or 7 Friday night.  If we want to do it then, I would be okay with that.  My choices would be:

1:  Sat evening
2:  Sun midday
3:  Friday evening

I am flexible, I want to work this out to everyone favor.  

As for places to eat, if I remember correctly there is a TGIF and a Trail dust near the center.

guys,

unless someone has some connections at dc west, be prepared to spend $3 bucks or more a game there and I really don't want to pay that much.. I don't think they run any kind of specials or discounts of anykind.

If someone knows someone that works there or can get us some type of discounted rate, that would be great..

Thats why I suggested Plano Super Bowl and their 97 cents a game special on Sunday mornings.

Oh well, when its decided where and when the get together is going to be, post it here..

I will be bowling the regional as well. Maybe I can meet a few of the regulars on here. I am pumped up about this one, no pattern "C". I really don't like that pattern. They posted "A".
