Looks like my trip to NC is starting to pay dividends.  Anyone serious about the game should make plans to visit Ron Clifton.  

For those of you who think I’m bragging, you’re right.  At my age, don’t know how many more chances I’m going to get.

I shot a team tournament last nite, real old house, above ground ball returns, pure wood lanes, gutter to gutter oil.

Games went exactly like this.

Game 1:  front 9, 4 pin, 10 pin
Game 2:  front 9, 8 pin, 7 pin
Game 3:  1st 4, 4-7 (missed) sheet

278 – 278- 264 for 820

The missed spare of course cost me a good triplicate, also cost me the house record, missed by 2 pins.

Ronc:  Sure sorry to give you a bad rap.  Before all your instruction my normal spare shot was the head pin.  After you moved me from the 3-6 pocket I keep leaving those weird spares.  4 pins, 7 pins etc.  Guess it will take another trip down to correct that problem.

Pbass:  Thats not the triplicate I have in mind.  LOL
