1. Highest game you've ever bowled in a sanctioned tournament:
264, too
2. Lowest game you've ever bowled in a sanctioned tournament:
Something 120ish
3. Highest three-game set you've ever shot in a sanctioned tournament:
697
4. Lowest three-game set you've ever shot in a sanctioned tournament:
Do not remember, but could be in the lower 500's
5. Best bowling center you've ever been in: No favorite but any lane in Germany that has a WBU licnece for official league play meets minimum standards and allows sport bowlers some training at playable standards.
One fave is my home base, the small bowling center of the BV Duesseldorf in Duesseldorf Benrath - I am a club member, so it is cheap and pretty demanding to play.
6. Worst bowling center you've ever been in: Cosmo Bowling, Duesseleorf, Germany. Expensive, used to be beright and new, but management only cares for open bowlers so maintenance is low and the value you get as well.
7. "Easiest" bowling center you've ever bowled in: Cosmo Bowling, in a short phase wehen they used to strip the lane. Lika a magnet in the pocket
8. "Hardest" bowling center you've ever bowled in: Bowling Center in Westerland, on the island of Sylt. A simple Spellmann house with 10 lanes, only cari ng for tourists - but it was the slickest lane I ever encountered, thanks to putting ever more oil on the lane and never stripping it, too. Best game in about 20 I made was a 163!
9. Biggest bowling center you've ever bowled in: Cosmo Bowling (see above), 28 lanes (huge for German standards)
10. Smallest bowling center you've ever bowled in: "Boston" restaurant, Duesseldorf, 2 lanes (without oil...) in the basement
11. Oldest bowling center you've ever bowled in: I think Treff Bowling in Duisburg, Germany (unknown age)
12. Strangest place you've ever bowled: Bowling Center in Siegen, in the 3rd floor (under the roof) of an old furniture retailer building - and the lift was not working!
13. Farthest you've ever traveled for a tournament: north of Hamburg, Germany, by car (about 300 miles), I also travelled to Belgium, but that's closer from home.
14. Least you've paid per game in the last five years, regular price: EUR 1,-, about $1,50
15. Most you've paid per game in the last five years, regular price: EUR 5,-, about $8 (in holidays)
16. Most you've paid for league in the last five years: N. a.
17. Least you've paid for league in the last five years: 0, got league games sponsored through the club (though membership is a hefty EUR 80,-)
18. Strangest set you ever shot: do not remmeber correctly, but it was a kind of 200-126-226. During the 126, a 300 game was going on on the neighboring lane, quite distractive...
19. Most splits ever in a three-game set: only remember the personal record of 5 in one game, in the early games with my Awesome Finish when I had big trouble with its surface and an unpredictable read on the lane.
20. Number of times you've ever been bowling when a party of 10 off-duty strippers from the nearby gentleman's club came in the bowling alley, were assigned the pair of lanes adjacent to you and proceeded to wreck your score in your second-shift league: 0
