So I have to brag a little about my son. He turns 3 in July and already lives and breathes bowling. Before he was even 2, he attached himself to bowling. When I watch the Tour, this started when he was about 18 months, he stops what he was doing and sits next to me on the couch and doesnt move until the show is over. For his birthday last year of course we took him for a bowling party and he had a blast and more than likely doing it again this year. I can point to the TV and ask him who this individual is and he will yell, "BELMOOOOO!" When he is not playing with his bowling set he is watching videos online of the Tour. His favorite seems to be the show when Tommy Jones bowled 300 for the title (smart boy). Before anyone freaks out, we do have him using ABC Mouse online and curb his time watching videos. So he does get his daily dose of learning words and numbers. But his 2 favorite phrases are "Please bowling" and "Bowling ball".
True story. Last week he was sitting next to me and he was watching the show that was the first one with only family in attendance. Well Simonson leaves a 7-10 on one of his shots. My son yells, "Ahhhhh. Seven ten!" I was cracking up. I thought to myself that my 2 year old already knows what the 7-10 is just from looking at it.
I cant help but think that this is the coolest thing ever. Definitely rank this higher than anything I have ever accomplished on a bowling lane. Sometimes things on here can get a little tense. So, I figured I would share a cool story. Do you guys have any cool bowling stories to share of your kids?
