remember that oldie but goodie?!?  it pretty much describes the chemistry that my team has lost this year . . . we've been bowling together for 4 years now, added a good guy 2 years ago when the league went from 4 to 5 man, and added another good guy this year when another moved up north.  our 3 man remaining core, including me, are friends and fairly serious about our games, but we have alot of fun, too!!

after 3 successful seasons, we're in the tank this year . . . last place.  it's killing me.  

should we get together and talk about it???  the league's almost over, so it may be too late for this year, but should we consider a divorce??  a trial separation??  or should we just tough it out for the long haul, and call this year a learning experience, or some sort of biorythm down cycle??

as for my part in this process, i've had some physical problems with my lower back and my right knee (had to have some arthroscopic surgery) that have kept my average down about 15 sticks, and not as much consistency.  you'd think i'd never picked up a 10 pin in my life judging from the past 2 months!!

if i could wave a magic wand, there are a few things i would change about some of my partner's games, but nothing drastic.  we're all individuals, aren't we?!?!?

anyway, to those other bowlers out there that have gone through something similar, any suggestions would be appreciated.
