how young were you?

I was 19 when i shot 300 and 21 for 800.  how old were some of you?  what was it like?

21 yrs. old when i shot my first (and so far only 300)
the next day had my high sanctioned set (759)
but no 800 yet...

51 for my first 300, 52 for my first 832 series. Which was a house record for 10 yrs.

I was 20 when I shot my first 300, and haven't had 800 yet.  I've had 792 and 790, and a bunch of other close ones.  One of these days.

I live in Michigan (obviously), and a kid out here shot 300 I think when he was 10 or 11 when I was in juniors.  His name was Rory Kalanquin.  I think he still holds just about every record there is.  Val Sherlock (another Michigan person) may have the 800 record, as I think he was 12.  I'm real hazy on those facts, but I know they were records at the time.  Hard to believe I grew up with those guys!
