I realize this could be a sticky thread, but I'll throw in my month's experience just for giggles...

Last week at our scratch league, I notice a bunch of younger adults about 10 lanes down, generally having a good time. I'm watching the biggest of the guys trying to throw about as hard as he can, while doing it (I thought) with a lollipop hanging out of his mouth. Until the end of the "lollipop" started glowing.

Yep, bowling with a lit cigarette in his mouth. I suppose if you wanted to do the old ashes-on-the-sliding-sole bit, you could just shake your head really hard a couple of times.

I think he rolled a 40.

I open bowled Saturday had people on both sides Group to my right was fine had no issues at all even joked around with them a few times. On the left however a girl would grab a ball walk up and throw didnt even look left or right or even think of waiting for anyone. One time I almost kicked her as my leg followed through (I was playing sorta deep) thought she would take the hint still nothing, So i said "would you mind waiting for those around if they are ready before you?" she nodded mumbled something and went and complained to her Mom who had seen the whole thing and her Mom agreed with me, the girl immediatlly quit bowling and pouted the rest of the time they were their I giggled to myself found it entertaining.
