Your limited to what types of layouts you can put on a ball and Nick can explain more lol. What causes a Full Roller again Nick?

Nothing wrong with a full roller. With the dynamic coverstocks today, they just might be better off. Of course, more options to manipulate the wieght block with different layouts and such with the semi's.

How about a vid of the before with full roller and the after with semi roller?

She throws it pretty good, and she's got a great coach!

Lemme guess the song for the video, Linkin Park: "Breaking the Habit"?

Funny, her wrist position is just like mine at the release except my fingers are at the 5-6 'o clock position and not the 3 'o clock position.  I track like a semi-roller with nearly 90 degrees rotation and a PAP measurement of 5 3/8ths right and 3/16ths up.  Full roller releases are usually caused by the fingers and thumb exiting at the same time and as you can see, the thumb is not out of the ball at the release point like it should me.

Why did she learn to bowl that way.  I always wondered how people develop such tendencies.  Though being a full roller is not to the uncomfortable extent that finishing on the wrong foot and throwing a back up ball are, it still seems a bit unnatural.  This is not to say that she is a poor bowler, from the videos she seems pretty good, but why?  Also, how have you gone about breaking her of the habit?  Do you just emphasize staying behind the ball to the release, or have you done something different?
