I throw urethane a lot, and was just curious. Has anybody had any experience with these yet as far as comparison wise?
I know they're not the same as the old days, but I am an old Faball fan, and the retro look of these two is making me nostalgically want them.
HOWEVER, I have been quite impressed by the pitch blues (moreso than the black) that I have seen, but I don't really like the thinner shelled type balls. I'm an old "thick shell" type guy.
Ultimately, performance is what I'm after though, and would just like a comparison more of the purple pearl hammer VS the pitch blue.

not to change your selection between hammer and storm but if you really liked the old faball, urethane you need to go look at the visionary crow ball. the owners of visionary used to,own faball before ebonite bought them out. i think i got that right. either way their website is visionarybowling.com

I'm having a great time using the blue hammer (current release) and I'm thinking of getting another blue or another urethane. But the price over $120 for urethane is a kinda pricey...
Storm pitch blue looks interesting though

Buddy of mine does really well with the 900 global boo-yah! Nice change of pace from the what u normally see, the hammer and pitch black.
However I think the booyah is essentially a relabeled pitch black

I agree. I think the Crow is the closest that you'll find to the original Hammer balls of the 1980s.
