Radical's lineup definitely compares well, and in most cases outperforms other companies' equipment of similar design or application. Everything seems to have what I call a "hybrid" reaction, meaning that nothing is long and really sharp, but nothing is really early and smooth. You have sharper pieces and smoother pieces, but they stay closer to the center of the range, which gives you different looks without sacrificing usability. This means that the sharp reactions aren't so sharp that you're driving by 9s or leaving solid 4s, but the smooth reactions aren't so smooth they can't kick the 10 out. As a result, the control to power matchup in every single ball is very good and very efficient. Because of this, Radical is putting out some of the best equipment right now in terms of usability and versatility.
At each price point, the performance is at least equal to or greater to comparitive equipment across the board. The Grease Monkey is the best piece you'll find at the price point, the Torrid Affair compares very well, and both the Reax 2 and Reax 2 Pearl are at the top of the list as well. At the very least, ANY Radical ball you choose won't let you down, or you won't be disappointed.
