Not to sound short and rude...but if there were a ball for both patterns we wouldn't need 7 and 8 ball arsenals for tournaments.

What is the Fury doing that makes it "suck"....?

It is one of the best balls out there for heavy juice....

well right now in my league change the patterm 37 to 42, and is a lot of carry down, im  cranker, and the fury doesn´t hook is go long, but the absolute inferno reaction in the backend  and do  a little hook, so i dont now if the fury is too agressive or work too early on the lane so that kill the ball reacttion on the backend???? i dont want to shinny or grit to 500, i prefert sell the ball. i just confuse... and i try with brunswick cus the absolute inferno is one of the best ball i ever had in my live, im bowling for 13 years.

Today call me a friend and tell me buy the hammer black widow for long patterm and for the short patterm the hornet.

i have the grafic of the patterms, do you want to see? give me your mail.. i send to you so maybe can you help me with this a lot!!!

thanks for responding the topic.

The fury will hook, maybe all you need to do is adjust the surface a little, i would suggest maybe something like 500 abarlon, give the ball some teeth but not to many.

But if you want to go buy a new ball, no one here should talk you out of it

For what it's worth, if you are fighting a longer pattern and a lot of carrydown, you might be well-advised to also change your game a little.  Bring your breakpoint in a little further left and soften your speed some.  You may need to straighten up your game even though you are a cranker.  You may also knock down the finish on your ball a little to get it to roll up sooner in the oil if the heads don't get too dry.

Remember ML...you cannot create a breakpoint reaction that is not there.  On longer patterns you will not see the "hook" you are accustomed to seeing.  The ball has to make a more gradual move towards the pocket and start its move earlier.

More hook does not equal more boards covered.  It means the ball is starting its move earlier on the lane.  The Fury is very good for this, you just probably need to do what Dan said and move your feet right and your mark left.

whatever ball you buy, you want roll. you want the ball to roll up to the long pattern and you want roll to burn up into the pocket on the short. Keep your surfaces on whatever u buy around 500, 800, 1000.
