hello all, I want to know if anyone has had experience with ordering a ball online and having it drilled by the online retailer. Is it safe to do so as long as the specs are given? Ordering online can save me a good 50+ dollars from my local pro shop. What do u guys think?

most sites it is safe and they do a good job, i haven't delt with him but many roomies on here and one of my buddies had asbjoe drill a ball for them and it turned out great, get your drilling specifications and send them to him and let him know about grips and such and it is a nice way to get it done.
*Note i only use my local pro shop though..*
Oh and i almost forgot, Noy are you trying to buy another bowling ball??

How does that work exactly? I have my spec card with me. I finaly got one made because I was tired of pro shop drillers ball copying and got to the point the balls were starting to feel out of span.
So even if you give them your spec card somehow, I know in my case I'm still going to have to do some work on it myself with beveling levels and opening up the holes, and then making the thumb right. If you had grips I could see it a less hassle.
