In the "Good Ole Days" when you hit a 190-200 ave. you became one of the leagues elite, a  "Roy Munson" and they handed you a slice of pizza and played your theme music as you came in the alley.

Well 190-200 averages are a dime a dozen today, So What's the cut today for being consider a upper class league bowler now?

What 210-220? 220+?

In my area, there are quite a few bowlers crying 215 or so averages. There are a handful over 220, but that is a small handful. I couldn't imagine someone carrying 230-240+ averages.

In 2000 I set a city record with a 237.8 average.  I believe the record is now 252 ( set 5 or 6 years ago ), although still only a couple over 240 each season.  High averages in our association seem to have actually dropped back a bit in the last 3 or 4 years.
