Games within the game??????
« on: October 14, 2006, 01:35:06 AM »
I am interested in any little games that teams play among themselves during the course of league play. We have some who play a card game, some who play a game where every 5th or 7th strike gets paid by team mates, open frames pay penaltys and so on. So , what are some of the games people play ?

The only "game" we play is cards.  A card for a mark, two for each consective strike after the first.  Can only keep five, so after you draw your cards for the frame, you have to put some back.  We also have a Survivor-esque eliminator that most people here seem to really like.

Pass Five.  Everyone (five person team) puts up a dollar and the leadoff bowler starts off holding the five bucks.  When he opens he passes it to the next bowler who keeps it until he opens.  At the end of the third game, whoever is holding the five keeps it.  If the anchor is holding it in the third game and opens in the tenth, he has to pass it to the leadoff bowler who keeps it.
