I've seen and have accomplished many great things in bowling, but last nite in my league my cousin/teammate really amazed me. The second game in the 1st frame he hits dead pocket and rings the 10 pin. He picks up the spare and comes back and says to me its ok I'll just go sheet from here, the lead off man on the opposing team over heard this and says "yea right" I bet you won't!
My cousin then says bet, give me some odds. The guy then says your $20 to my $100.
He then placed a bet that I would'nt beat him the second game since I'm the leading man on my squad and I had the audacity to shoot a 141 (hey it happens).  I wish this was televised, my cousin proceeded to strike from the second frame on while getting more and more pumped, talking trash and everything, it was fun to watch. The final shot was pocket sending a fast messenger to the 10 pin.  I personally have never seen anything like this, that's like placing a bet that you're going to shoot a 300.  What unbelievable stories do you have??  I just had share this.  By the way, the guy had to pay twice, because I punched out with a 256 that game.  Money well earned.

It's the LOOK on your face when you have to HAND IT OVER!!!!

I bowled city tourny the last two weeks and the first game of are team event I shot 199 with a open in the tenth. I walked back to the table and told my teammates I wouldnt miss again guess what 22 strikes later I had the whole house behind me cheering me on. If I would of struck on the tweenty third We would have broke the city record again for the third straight year.

I forgot how much I made off the deal...but someone bet me after a spare / strike that I couldn't go off the sheet for a 290!  I did though!!!!

One of my friends did the same thing about 5 years ago...but he was bet by a girl that we know and the payment was not money!!
