Riddle me this, if I have all my balls drilled with a certain pap and then my delivery or release changes overtime, what does having the wrong pap cost me?

I dont know the new one, but my old one was 4 3/4 up a 1/4. I still get the hits at times with this new release, but I can see how the ball rolls different at the start before getting into the roll.
