Hi I love to use particle balls and i know they seem to have fallen out of favor in recent years, does anyone know of any new particle balls coming out. (My favorite ball of all time is the reaction roll so I am looking for something similar to that) any suggestions would be great.

Not really any named particle balls in the major ball companies. They tend to eat the pattern quickly. They absorb a lot of oil and have to be bled more often than reactives. So, to make the ball hook as much as the particles, companies started coming out with "super covers." Covers that double, triple, or quadruple in strength with more surface. Sorry, I didnt answer your question, but thats the situation.
I used to love the particles big b came out with. The raging inferno reacted like a lot of strong big b balls now. Combat Zone, Ambush, they were all a favorite of mine. However, you just dont see them anymore as the boomerang reaction has become the most popular reaction in bowling. Ok, enough of my bad news. I'm sure some other brotheren can help with the topic.

Lord Field is making particles. You also might be able to find some Lane Masters particles out there.

If a company uses that type of additive in their covers, they usually don't use the word "particle" because it tends to be the killer of sales.
As mentioned earlier, we all think of those first generation "heavy load" particle balls that hooked too early, absorbed oil extra fast, and required lots of maintenance. They were designed for heavy oil, which most of us don't see 95% of the time. They tend to have a very smooth late move too, and everyone seems to want a BIG back end reaction lately.
Most of today's solids can roll very similar if you add some surface to them. If you can find a newer Purple Revolver (hint) and leave it without polish... Bingo!

I agree. I have a 16lbs brunswick fuze elliminator at home. I am throwing 15 to 14 lbs. Very good ball. Smooth rolling ball and low load particle. To get that same reation without particle. I am thinking of getting morich levrg solid blue. I would think that would be a good ball to replace fuze.

The Combat Zone wasn't a particle coverstock ball. It had the same, Powersurge, coverstock as the Rhino Pro Gold!!! I loved the Warp Zone and my old one is still being used by one of my mechanics and still hooks a ton!!!

If you are looking for some high quality Particles Pieces I would definately recommend you check out Lord Field. The Higgs Force is a current offerring and there is a "New Release" The Nasty that will release the first week in September.
