Particle Equipment?
« on: April 07, 2004, 03:45:18 PM »
Does anyone throw an ALL particle arsenal?
except for your plastic ball of course.
My most used balls are all particle.

strongest to weakest.

Pearl Carbide Bomb 10 Micron finish.
Golden Nugget Box finish.
Pro Purple highly polished after 45 minutes on the gray
pads on the Haus.
I can take these three balls and score decent most anywhere.
I also have a Viper, XXXL, and a Danger Zone 2 that I use occasionally, but
these do NOT go into every house I go into, but my three particles
do.

Saws are made to cut ANYTHING including 10 pins
FAILURE IS FEEDBACK. AND FEEDBACK IS THE BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS THAT GOT DIGESTED!

I use particle's as long as there is enough head oil to get them down the lane, and if I have to, I'll polish a LOWER Load, Higher RG Particle ball (like a Tornado TPS Particle) up to 5000 High GLOSS if I have to - just so I can use PARTICLE!!! I don't car for Reactive's unless there is absolutely NO HEAD OIL at all and then use HAVE to use a weak Reactive ball. Reactive's are too over/under if there is any oil out there on the lane in my opinion. Or at least for my style that is!

I've only got 1 honor score with a Reactive ball, and every single one of my other honor scores have come with Particle's.

My motto is:

"If there is any head oil at all... use Particle."

Even if it's a sanded particle ball... or Highly Glossed.

I like the medium and light load particle stuff, and throw it the vast majority of the time--at surfaces from 700 to 1500.  I have a 320 Granite Gargoyle for when I need a tractor.  The only non-particle that sees much use is an Inferno.  I have other reactives for drier conditions, but they haven't seen much use lately.
