Pattern variances

This question is for individuals that regularly put out the shot in their house.
I bowl in a 5 Man men’s league, part of our league follows a 3 person mixed league while the rest of the league bowls on a fresh shot that is applied 2 to 3 hours before we start. The 6 lanes that are used by the early league are stripped and oiled right before we start. There is a noticeable difference in the way the pattern plays from the lanes that are used in the early league and those that were not. The lanes used by the early league play much tighter than the others. The house claims that they use the same shot for all the lanes, but the play is greatly different.

What causes this difference?

There is a huge difference between conditioning a lane and letting it sit, for hours as opposed to stripping & re-oiling and then immediately bowling on them. The oil has a different concentration to it. As well dealing in residual heat from the earlier league play. Synthetic lane surface holds residual heat longer than a wood lane.

Thats what I'm seeing.
The lanes that had time to sit play wide open, I normally play 25 to 10 to start and adjust from there. The lanes that are oiled just before we start play much tighter, typically starting at 10-12 with very little swing area.
