PBA new upcoming bans in 2023
« on: February 03, 2022, 09:16:50 AM »
The PBA Tour will ban wrist supports with “restrictive material” such as steel or plastic supportive bracing starting Jan. 1, 2023. The new rule applies only to PBA Tour competition, not PBA50 or PBA Regional competition, or PBA50 or PWBA players in doubles/team events with PBA players.

PBA announced to ban Plugged Bowling Balls from 2023.

I haven't "accused" you of anything. I just stated an opinion.

Backtracking to save face is often the poor excuse and tack to try when one has been called out and proven a fool. Thank you for meeting the description of the very insult you tried to give others.

Again, practice what you preach, although that is more than a lost cause.

Luke Rosdahl on his podcast summed this one up very succinctly: A second hand is not a device, it's a technique. And bowlers can either master a technique, or botch it up.

A wrist device that locks your hand into a certain position, however, is going to do the same thing every time with no effort.

Not to mention we are still calling what Troup, Belmo, et al do as "two-handed" bowling when there is really no such thing. It's just no-thumb bowling with an exaggerated off-hand carry into the swing. None of these guys have a second hand on the ball at release.
