I feel your pain,Man, the same way I'm feeling right now. I too had a good run & best game last monday night league,3/1/04,had the front 9 with all solid hits & on the pocket.I was nervous too 'coz thinking this will be my first 300,then it went brooklyn for the first time on the 10th frame & left the 5 pin then after the spare another solid hit for a 279.Now I know how it feels to choke big time.

Did mine with my first used lane 1 cherry bomb that I got here in ballreviews(thanks Scott "strappersquared")Before, I only use storm balls, but from what I see in this forum about lane 1 balls on how they hit.They are right & the carry are tremendous.Now I'm a believer too.Storm & lane 1 all the way!!!

Hopefully, I'll hit that jackpot next time.

its all luck as far as im concerned.  even though the scores are higher today, u still need some sort of break in order to shoot 300.  i have, and im sure many others have too, bowled numerous 279's where every shot was buried in the pocket, each shot seeming better than the one before.  somewhere along the way, theres either a 10 or an 8 or a 9 standing, and i often wonder how this sport can be so cruel.  the first time i went to the 10th with a chance to shoot 300, i buried all 3 shots and actually carried the last 3.  but unlike all the "perfect" 279's i bowled, i crossed and carried in the 4th frame, and had a shot tug 3 boards in and hold in the 6th.  it really shouldve been a 260, but lucky me, i was able to walk away with perfection.  ive also seen a kid bowl a 300 hitting the pocket flush about 5 times.  like i said, its all luck

I have yet to shoot anything higher then a 245(still my high game). Congrats, but, that sucks. I say congrats cuz thats still a really good score. Hopefully I will be posting my first 300 some time or another!

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

I feel the same way every time I sanction another 279 game, a feat I've accomplished more times than I can recall.

If horse racing is the sport of kings, then surely bowling is a very good sport as well.

i have had a messenager miss the ten pin 3 in the tenth frame 3 times in the last week.  2 279's and a 289.  some things just are't meant to be.  great shooting and keep it up.  you will knock down 120 on 12 shots soon enough.
