UPS is NOT that great!!

I wasn't sure where to post this so I will put it here. I have read several posts in the past about how great UPS ground is and how bad Fed Ex ground is well I can tell you my opinion now is the same as before, UPS ground stinks..

I bought a couple of balls of  A-P-K and he shipped them out this week and I was due to get them Monday 6/28 so I thought I would where they where today and to my amazement, here is what one of the tracking numbers showed:

FALLOUT/MERCHANDISE MISSING;MERCHANDISE MISSING, CARTON DISCARDED

How thats for taking care of a package!! I have used Fed Ex ground for over 2 years and they have never had something like this happen..

I then called UPS and the lady told me the shipper had already been notified of this and she couldn't tell me any details of the package because I wasn't the shipper, how stupid is that? Whats the big secret?

Regardless, I am sure I will not be getting one of my balls and for sure will NOT be using UPS Ground ever again for shipping. I understand losing the package, but their customer service sucks..

A_P_K is gonna make things right as far as the missing ball, its just a point to how bad UPS is as far as the handling of packages..

Ok, I agree with both are bad about handling packages, but there is no excuse for BAD customer service and UPS stinks an that department for sure..

What we've found is that UPS does handle their freight damage claims fairly well. We've found this out how? By having to use it again, and again, and again, and again, and ... Well - you get the idea.
We will NOT use UPS for any domestic shipping unless our ebay buyers demand to use it and nothing else.

I think they are going to try to blame the packaging.. Thats what they did to me years ago on something I had shipped to me. I got the box and there was a hole in it and parts had fallen out and they came to the conclusion, the package was not packed properly, thus washing their hands of everything..
