PBAx Cheetah week 5 experience
« on: June 09, 2010, 06:42:33 AM »
So last night was another funfilled experience. Last week I was able to play outside 5th board. Last night different lanes, different people bowling with us, and a little drier pattern so it felt.

I started out practice playing 6-2 board where I ended last week at. I immediately noticed the ball would not hold that line for more than 5 frames. I started playing the pattern a little deeper. 10-5 which gave me more room for error and the ball wasn't too erratic once the pattern ended. I started out with my BVP Rampage for game 1. By the 7th frame the ball was starting to move a little more aggresively, made a 1 board move left and the ball was just snapping off the end of the pattern harder with every shot. 10th frame I made a ball change and moved my entire line right. Played 7-4 to finish off game 1. Missed 1 spare, and it was a nasty one too.

Game 2 I played 7-4 all game long with no adjustments. Again nobody has the cajonas to play outside 8 board so again I have the pattern all to myself for the 2nd week. I am noticing more and more experienced bowlers giving this line a try. I ran the 1st 8 then the pattern started to fall apart. Made a 1 board move right and stayed in the pocket but had no pin carry.

Game 3 I played 6-4 and had no pin carry for the 1st 2 frames. 3rd frame I moved my entire line even farther outside playing 4-2, with my rampage this line was not playable, my t-road pearl played this line pretty good. Pin carry was little better but nothing to write home about. I missed 2 easy spares in the 7th and 9th frame which killed any chances of a good game. Still managed to come close to average.

Current season average was 186. Pattern average after week 1 was 224.

Game 1: 200
Game 2: 255
Game 3: 180
Series: 635

After last night my season average is now 189, Pattern average is 214.
