the august 2003 issue of bowlers journal international features an interview with walter ray williams, jr. the cover pretty much says it all---"THE ONE". i think he's VERY modest of his accomplishments and place in pba history. there won't be another one like him for a very long time.

reason number one why Guy's like me won't make it on the Show.

It I were to bowl against these guys( WRWjr,Duke,PDW,Bohn,Voss...) and the commentator asks the standard are you nervous?, always to someone going for there first title, I would hold up my hand and say "See that steady as a rock", then proceed to hold up my bowling hand that is shaking like a leaf and say " But I bowl with this hand!"

and the obligatory "What do you have to do to win?" I would reply " Cut the hamstring on the push off let so they pull the ball"

I bet he didn't get much bonus money for that. Now if he had said my F*#&(&** week he would have made a killing. Especially as many times as he said it.
