My pro shop has me down with a negative track. I know that I track closer to my thumb than my fingers. I believe they have my PAP as 4 5/8 over.
Regardless of whether my PAP is correct or not, does anyone know in general what tendencies are true for negative trackers like myself. It seems like most equipment I throw has a tendency to get easy length with lots of backend regardless of ball type and finish? I just recently started setting my equipment up with pins below my grip and have really liked the reactions. I don't even know if I can drill a pin up ball anymore because I'm pretty sure I'd have to drill out the pin with my ring finger to be at 5" alone.
I find it odd that my two strongest balls are actually my least hooking balls. A 505T drilled 50x4x40 and a Hyroad drilled 45x3 3/8x 45. The hyroad especially revs and revs and revs and then fizzles on the backend of the lane.
I'm just having a hard time picking layouts for my equipment without wasting money on poor reactions. Sorry for the long post and again thanks a bunch!
