do you guy's think it's a good idea to have at least 1 ball a lb heavier than your normal weight? A hall of fame senior in my area and i were talking and he does this for the times he catches really tight lanes. he says the extra pound helps him keep his speed down and hits a little better for him and really tight lanes. does anyone else do this for situations like that.

To answer your question..."YES"!

Usually whenever I play on longer oil, or oil with heavier volumes, I go up a pound in wgt. to a 16LB.
