« on: February 27, 2011, 01:27:41 AM »
What kind does everyone use these days?  my innovative finally seen its last days.  Used for 16 years and hundreds of bowling balls.  I am pretty sure that I will be buying another one.

Just curious whats out there on the market that people are using today.  Donkee, Vertex or Innovative

I'm using Innovative's 1/3hp Personal Ball Spinner.  I've had it for about a year now, and it was money well spent.  Very well made.  I now use it with a foot switch, also from Innovative, and highly recommend this type of switch instead of turning the spinner on & off by hand.

I agree especially with how many balls that went through my previous Innovative spinner, plus I know Mr John Jameson (Owner).  I was just kinda of wanting to feel the ballreview's Nation out to see what they liked.

I am 99% sure that I will be buying a new Innovative spinner.

Thanks for the replies

Before buying a new one check with John at Innovative, explain what the problem is with the one you have and see if it would be more economical to have it repaired or do it yourself.  Unless you just want a new spinner!  --  JohnP

I have had the Vertex 1/3 HP model for about 2 1/2 years. Had to replace the power switch, but other than that it has been a solid piece of equipment.

Thanks, I have already talked to John about parts, and he doesn't carry the part that I need to fix my spinner.

It is the worm gear that wore out in my spinner.

Have had a Vertex 1/3 hp for 8 years now. It's indestructible. Can't say enough good things about the device and the company including customer service. I do a bit of surface adjusting on it, now and then ...

I'm not a huge fan of spending so much on a spinner, so I think I'm going to go this route just to save my arms from doing it by hand...http://www.polishyourball.com/  I know a spinner may be awesome and I envy you all that have them.  I just cant see dropping 200 bucks on one.  I just hope I become friends with one of you guys that have one...hahaha!  :)
