Personal goal finally met.

During the regular season, I always prefer bowling in the toughest houses around.  I like the challenge, but because of the diffuculty I don't shoot too many honor scores.

This summer, I decided I needed a confidence builder, so I bowled a summer league on the THS. And as a result, I won myself a piece of jewelry.  Last night, I shot...

290...236...279 = 805

When I shoot an 8 in a tough house, it will mean more, but I'm still proud of my performance last night.

For those equipment junkies, I bowled the first frame of game one with this ball...http://bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=613 and it went high.  I switched to this ball drilled in a 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"...http://www.columbia300.com/gear/balls.cfm?bid=95 and kept it all night.

congratulations. AN 8 is still an 8. even on a THS you don't see one every week.

Congrats on the score...sure feels good doesn't it?  Those games sound similar to what I did for my first 8!

On another note...I'm jealous:  Not only do you have a RX Pearl, but a Tremor as well!  Man I really loved that ball (tremor)!

Congrats again...and it will mean more on the tougher shot believe me!

Nice shooting Constantine.  Doesn't matter where you shoot an 8, you still have to make a bunch of quality shots.

Great to see you back.  I need all the help I can get.  

800s aren’t easy, even on a THS shot.  Great shooting, knew it was just a matter of time.

Seems like every time I’m in Atlanta you’re gone or it’s 3 AM.  Hopefully this year will be the charm.

Congrats – Even though I’ve done it you just can’t believe you can ever carry well enough to shoot 800 (at least it feels unreal to me).

Congratulations!

300's may be a little easier on a THS, but to shoot 800, you have to make 32+ quality shots.  You might carry on poor shots for a while, but it will never last 3 games.

Congrats!!

I agree 100% with Strider...have to throw a ton of quality shots (and then still not assured of scoring) to approach an 800.

Bask in the fame that the 800 brings and hope there are more on the horizon!
