Okay. I will toss in my 2 cents worth.
I used to use a 50/50 mixture of Simple Green and water for years. I also had ball reps for 2 different companies express how well they thought it worked for them. They will remain anonymous here.
The key is to give it time to work. If you want to spray it on and immediately wipe it off your results may be less than desired. However, if you will show a little patience, and give it 30 seconds to break down oil and dirt left on the cover you will likely be impressed. I could get any ball as tacky as any other cleaner for a small fraction of the price. For daily cleaning the product is amazing, in my opinion. It is strong enough to break down motor oil off your driveway, so why would it not be strong enough to clean a little dirt and oil from your bowling ball?
There are great products on the market that may work faster, and maybe better, but there needs to be a cost comparison to decide whether they are that much better. Just my .02...
