I would go with a mid-price solid from any company. I prefer Visionary Ogre Solid for medium oily conditions.

I would go with the Storm Reign, Medium priced ball with a very good reaction.

I''d go for a columbia 300 freeze, it''s a good medium oil ball that''s also cheap

I second this notion. Good ball, proven core/coverstock, great price. Also a good starting point. You can use it on most conditions, then once you get back into the swing of things, you can buy a ball for heavier oil conditions if you actually see heavier conditions. One thing I preach is having a spare ball. I say get a freeze and a white dot, unless you have a "straight" ball still around.

Columbia Freeze = Beast in disquise + polished coverstock.  A very tried and true core and doing very well in our area for the price point.  You can't go wrong with it.
