pba x league done and so is the league itself

It was a fun experience but at a cost of much frustrations. I seriously think I left more splits then strikes. I counted numerous balls where I didn't think was that bad and got splits. Bought a spare ball for this league becaue was missing not only corner pins but simple pins I used to have area on like 2 pins or 3 pins. For an entire 12 week 4 game a week season which bowled all of it I averaged low 160's. High was in the 230's and think I have only had 5 200 games. The hardest part was adjustments. It became a game of chance for many I spoke to and many were just in the same boat as me. 200 average bowlers like myself averaging anywere from 150-180. Even 210 to 220 bowlers averaging that and know these guys...and a few girls.

Bowl on two leauges at this house. For near 15 years have bowled the same sanctioned usbc league every fall and summer on late afternoon Thursdays. For 10 some was bowling a 5 man league late Friday but was burned out on that league and never got to do anything on Friday nights but bowl.

PBA X league is a night league but not late night...starts on Mondays at 7 pm. Not big on bowling on a Monday but did it for this league and by myself found 2 others to make a team. Now everyone is going thier seperate ways. The house decided even though we got over 20 teams for the PBA X league out of 40 lanes we "had" to make room for a usbc men's league 4 man team and they "had" to take most of the house. The house decided upon themselves to screw us and move the PBA league to 930 pm on Tuesdays. I hate Tuesdays but if it was earlier I would do it and would let me watch every Monday night football game. But it's too late. I'm not staying past midnight for this league. To make it worse then it sounds the house changed the format to 2 people a league instead of 4. Who is going to bowl a doubles league that late at night? No one. I asked management and the league rep at the house and they understand but they wanted to make it fair for everyone which to me makes it only fair to eveyone else but us. Now unless I want to only bowl once a week I have to find a new league....maybe a new house which wouldn't be a bad thing.
