Title: Pin placement..........
Post by: nd300 on December 28, 2005, 02:23:43 AM
What would be the result of placing the pin on your PAP????
 My PAP======approximately 5 1/4 over by 7/16th up--if I remember right---
 15-16 MPH
 Stroker
 250-275 revs
 Wood lanes with Guardian
 Typical oil patern is 38 feet buffed to 40 to 42 ft.
 Typical line played is starting 12th board at the arrows and workign left---usually end up on 15 to 16 at the arrows by end of the third game.
 Thanks in advance for all replies.........

On a symetrical ball you should see a very gradual reaction due to the lack of flare.  The ball should only move when it finds ample friction as the core is in a stable position.

You'll hate it on Guardian unless there is some oil up front.  If you remember, I used to live in Minot with wood and guardian.  I tried two different balls with pin on pap drillings.  If you played anywhere near the dry it was flat 10's all night long....
