first game 197 secid game 247 last game 166 5 taps 8 and 9 pins. to start out I have the most challenging conditions possible. I am bowlingon wood lanes theT are stripped once a week and they havntbeen screened in 6 years then we have a leaky roof and finally they are oiled with a century 100 machine old pad machine with flat pattern sent down the lanes 35 feet times 2 so liuttle to no back end and no recovery area and dodging puddles. to make thing wost I am a right handed cranker about 475 rpm used to average 220-225 and now down to 184 house high average just knowing I am a better bowler and cant score.

What we won't complain about, first we have threads complaining about lane conditions being to easy, then we have threads about them being to tough and then the self proclaimed "Father of the BR Inquisition" (ROFLMAO) is calling him a sandbagger, the guy is complaining that he would like a shot that is easier to score on, (his conditions do sound a little extreme with the leaky roof) and after being called out on that laments that he should be happy because it will be beneficial for tournaments.

I'd love to bowl there. The 2 house i bowl in here just installed new synthetic lanes. If I didn't know any better, I'd swear the lanes are V shaped. All balls, any delivery style, funnel straight to the headpin. It's the dumbest thing. Scores are stupid high.

Tell you what - I'll trade you the 516 I shot on Wednesday night for the 610 you shot.

NOTHING I did worked.  These are (presumably) the same conditions on which I shot 692 the previous week and 717 2 weeks before that.  My last game was 146 with multiple splits and washouts.  The pocket was just completely inaccessible as everything either skid past or jumped through the beak.

It was one of those nights that just couldn't have ended quickly enough.

If the lanes and the oiling pattern is close to what you describe in the opening post, try and find a visionary midnight Scorcher(if You Can), that ball ought to work well for what you are facing.
