Regional Players Championship.
« on: May 29, 2010, 04:12:09 PM »
Watching a lot of people struggle today. They have down the World Chamionship Pattern.

With the weather as hot as it was in the Detroit area today,it made the condition even harder.
Was hot very in Thunderbowl ,even with the air on.

The pattern was blown-up in the heads early from the heat.Players struggled early and often.
Spares missed, splits by the dozens.Lots of scoring monitors hit.Chris Collins hit them hard
twice, even though he  is near the top.Should be interesting on Sunday.

Yeah, that makes you examine every decision, the couple of spares missed, fill ball counts, etc.
I'll be back.

Interesting also, 32nd place beat #1 in the round of 32!

Well guys,Chris is into the round of  8.But this doesn't mean that
any equipment has been spared.Chris  hits stuff even when he's
winning. All it takes is one shot that he perceives as bad,and boom,
  he snaps.

I wish some of the others guys would stop being  such damn wusses,
and just report his azz and stop looking the other way.

I don't give a rat's azz if these guys have to be around one another on
on a weekly basis.Grow a set and step up to the plate.

This crap should not be tolerated.Even if the bowlers and tournament
officials look the other way,the owners and managers of the centers
  should not.

You allow someone  to get away with once, and that's all it takes for them to
know that they can get away with it all the time.

No. I didn't say that. Way to build yourself a fancy straw man though... I said, if you can manage basic english comprehension, that I wasn't defending it, but pointing out that you cannot rationalise it.

Now. Please. Do keep up.

Well, back on point.Down to top 4.Chris could be eliminated by Michigan and Detroit
  legend Troy Stus .
Troy has not bowled in recent years, comes back stronger than ever, and has
a chance to win this thing.

Even so, Riga Kalfas Is averaging almost 255 for the 8 games he's bowled, that's going to be tough to beat. I'm still rooting for Tommy Gollick myself.

just let out a huge cheer.

QUESTION: Does that get him an exemption on the National for next year, 2010-2011, if there is a next year?

Nope.  Automatic entry into the richest TOC.  Plus, the $7,500 he won for being the champion of the RPC.

Arnold Palmer's rule # 2

 Keep your temper under control

In the final of the Western Pennsylvania Junior when I was 17, I let my putter fly over the gallery after missing a short putt. I won the match, but when I got in the car with my parents for the ride home, there were no congratulations, just dead silence. Eventually my father said, "If I ever see you throw a club again, you will never play in another golf tournament." That wake-up call stayed with me. I haven't thrown a club since.

Throwing clubs, sulking and barking profanity make everyone uneasy. We all have our moments of frustration, but the trick is to vent in an inoffensive way. For example, I often follow a bad hole by hitting the next tee shot a little harder -- for better or worse.
