Plant foot sliding issue
« on: September 22, 2023, 11:28:30 AM »
I need some input on my plant foot. Sometimes the approaches are to sticky causing  hip pain. But i dont want to slide to much to make myself off balance .  I was thinking of using a sock if the approaches are sticky but I have never used a sock. So Im not sure if that will cause me an issue. Suggestions please

Does your shoes have interchangeable heels and soles? The options to adjust slide a little or a lot in smaller increments is a lot easier vs a slide sock that will be like stepping on ice most of the time.

I have used a slide sock for about 18 years. I am missing some toes , so I wear special non.bowling shoes  that do not slide without the sock. It takes some break in time,.but I love it. You will slide even on sticky approaches. Try it in practice first and see how it feels.  You.may only.need it on certain approaches. It's nice to have it if you come across some sticky approaches.
