Currently I take a Break Pearl, Cherry Vibe and Avalanche solid to league. Normally the Vibe stays home. For whatever reason old equipment seems to trump the latest and greatest at this house. Older wood lanes that are in great shape, hand oiled and hand stripped lanes (we only have 6 lanes). The thing I like about the house is that you can attack the lanes a variety of ways but generally straighter is slightly greater here. So with that said I don't have any "straighter" equipment to mess around with. I'm not in the market for a new ball so I am going to raid my dads stash that he doesn't use and I'm looking for suggestions on which to redrill. Laying around is a Storm Tropical green/yellow, teal Rhino and Zone Classic with a red pin (probably needs a resurface). Which of these would be the best to mess around with? The teal Rhino is 16# so that's probably out although it would be fun to go old school. I was thinking the Tropical at first glance because it would require the least amount of work but the Zone is soooo tempting as well. What do you guys think?
