maybe we should all go to bowlign duckpin we wouldn't be complaining about the inflated averages anymore.

there is definitely no modern day technology involved in duckpins. roll ball, hit pins!

Not true..

They have reactive reasin balls as well. The old rubber/plastics balls don't do well on todays surfaces..

well, this place definitely had old rubber balls. thats what we used. its a bit of a dungeon!

I tried it in Maryland over the summer and really enjoyed it. My kids loved it because all our games were close.

So it's basically a smaller version of regular bowling? Looks like you can throw that little 3 pound ball like 30mph and send the pins flying everywhere.

you probably wont find many duckpin lanes outside of maryland. i happen to bowl at the only house on the eastern shore of maryland that has duckpin lanes .  12 duckpin lanes 12 10 pin lanes

pins dont fly around like you think. u can definitely chop through the rack very easily!

Ive gone duckpin a few times in Maryland a couple of years ago, and it was very fun. Definately much more challenging than 10 pin, and kudos to any professional duck pinners.

Another fun game if you ever cross over into Canada is the 5 pin bowling.  Top score is 450.  The place we went had one in the history of the house.

It was sick, but extremely fun!
