I need to know what would be the best pancake weight block plastic ball to get

Use the same weight as your non-plastic ball.

For the most part, all the low cost ones are all basically the same. Get a White Dot or similar and don't worry about it if all you want is a spare ball.

Now if your wanting it for a super dry condition strike ball, then you can start nitpicking whether it has a high tech core or this one has a harder surface than that one etc.

Ah my bad. I misread the post. I thought it was asking what weight ball to get. Aloarjr is giving you good advise in my opinion. Pick a color you like and go with it.

They are all almost the same. Pick a color scheme that you like and then go. You can even get a Viz-a-Ball if you want more variety.
