On a Wed. night league at Mt. Airy lanes....NC I was the only one to show up for the position round of the league. My girlfriends son was on roster so he could fill in and give us at least 2 bowlers which made us legal for the wins. Well we was in 3rd 4 games out of 1st...2nd PLace was 4 games out of 1st as well...The 4th place team didnt show up that night so they forfeited and we won all four of ours. We had gotten done bowling very early that night and had left early. Well 2nd place had beating 1st place all four games making it a 3 way tie for 1st place for the second quarter. I hope you are following. Anyways I came to the bowling alley the following Mon. night to get a couple new balls only to see the 1st and second place team rolling off for the winner of the second half. They told us that we should have been there to, to roll off at the same time. Well nobody had told us anything about being there Mon. night, so they continued bowling and said well we was just outta luck.....
This was the secretaries fault for not calling any of us and letting us know we was suppose to be there on that Mon. night. Is this at all fair to us?
?? I really dont think so and now there not giving us a chance at 1st place... What do you guys think about this and can I do anything about it??? The payoff is next Wed. night so I gotta find out something as fast as I can... Thanks for all comments. John Davis
