Thanks for the replies guys, appreciated!
To tennispro, I have a 4 step approach, and I am consistant with my first two steps in terms of timing.. I think it has more to do, where I bowl have to put a little grunt into the ball on the downswing otherwise ball rolls out and hooks to brooklyn too often. This forces me I found, to want my 4th stride to reach out quickly for the lane for support. Help my balance, the down side of that is a very sore knee, and a little too inconsistant with hitting my mark/tagtet.
TO bowling kid, I'll remember the tip-toeing (sp??), bend a little more on third step with back a little straighter... Regarding my bowling shoes, I bought the cheapest pair of plain bowling shoes around $30 when I first started bowling around 3 years ago, very basic shoe.. Should I invest in a better pair, remembering that bowlers, and I mean some great bowlers of the past had the most simplistic bowling shoe around.. We all I know the old saying, "A good tradesman never blames his tools"....
To Trimnan, my shoes aren't excessively tight or anything.
Went bowling twice in the last few days, focused on sliding foot, a little better, still planting for the most part. Any other tips, I would love to read em??
Thnaks all, Looseleftie
