Profiles
« on: March 11, 2004, 12:48:33 AM »
Some of us on this site have Profiles, but it seems more people don't than people that do. When people ask questions, more times than naught I look at their Profile because this information is needed in order to accurately answer that person't question, and I'm sure others do the same thing.

So, for you people that don't have a profile, why do you chose not to write one? After all, when you ask for help/advice, it helps other people to help you.

AM not A CHICK OF BOWLING but I wanted to be in Manda's clique And why would I "saw" pins in half, THATS A WASTE OF PINS! I'd rather blow it over with my storm, and 21mph ball speed on dry shots.

Bowling Kid, you did great. Nothing more needed. You have enough information for people to help/advise you when you ask for it.

Well, I have to find it the next time I go, but I don't have a spinner or anything, so I'm not sure how I can find it...and the pro shop guy is never in, maybe once a week randomly.

plus he thinks we are retarded and he would be like "why do you need to know that? Just come to me for anything you need!"

"Why do you want the PSP thing you were talking about?  I'll just drill all of your gear label, since that's obviously not what you want."

Ah, but Skip's a good guy.  The other guy, I would rather drill it myself...

I also think it's helpful when someone's giving out advice.  If I receive suggestions from someone I want to know something about them.  I can then judge the credibility of their advice accordingly.

This applies mostly to people who post infrequently.

Melonhead and others that don't know, I am listing below the most necessary information from my Profile. This is the kind of info. people need when helping, advising, etc. If you don't know all of this then list what you do know as that will help a lot. Thanks for asking:

RH
Stroker/Tweener
Ball Speed 14-16 mph
Low revs
Span 4 1/4 x 4 5/16
PAP 4 3/4 over 1/4 up
Balls with 2" to 3" Pins work best

Stronger drillings work best
Pins beside or below ring finger work best
Pins over fingers do not work for me
Cannot play deep and "open up the lanes"
Comfort zone approximately 10 to 13

On my last visit to my pro shop, I took a look at my sheets he has for my different balls - and copied my PAP from that.  Is it odd that my PAP is 5¼" over and 1" down?  What does that say about my track?

I have to say this.

I have included all of my information THAT I KNOW.

I say this because, in this area the pro-shop guy WILL NOT talk to you about PAP or VAL  or Revrate or Ballspeed or your preferences..

He says they don't matter??

I wish I had all the pertinent information... but I don't!
