The real question is what ball had you been throwing. Assuming it was a heavy medium ball, with your ball speed, you need something that will get through the heads. I'll give you three ideas based on what I have thrown extensively or tried and watched a great deal:
1. Dynothane AU79.
2. Triple X Factor.
3. Brunswick Raging Inferno.
Each, on the average house condition, seems to give folks some room to the outside, with some control on slightly pulled shots. All move. None is overly flippy. I personally vote for the Element because of the coverstock's longevity. But I have and like the Raging and have thrown a Triple X and it has worked marvelously well for many, many people. You could also try a regular Element or Thing set to about 1000 grit.
If you are interested in other companies, let me suggest the Throttle UP (petedw is right), a ball that gets through the heads very well and is clearly the best of the Throttle line (I have bowled very well with it, largely playing a deeper line), and Track's Phenom Unleashed, which is also pretty clean through the heads with a strong recovery for a lot of folks with below average speed and average hand.
I have no stock, I'm on no staff, and I'm not exclusive to any one company. Just my observations.
