Finally in a discussion tonight I figured out, I'm not a hex after all!!!

I stopped complimenting good bowling because I felt like a hex.

This sounds like a good reason for them bowling badly after I compliment them.

Took a while for me to get it.

If a stranger walks up, comliments me on a good game and really means it. It goes to my head and takes my focus off of my game!

Does this theory make sense?? sounds like solid answer to me.
