I haven't purchased many of the particle cover balls. Only have 2. How long have the coverstocks been lasting? I know that some of the first Columbia line was dying out fairly quickly, (Rock Series). Seems like they have been a little more durable than the opening series of balls.
I am looking to purchase some newer equipment to see the reaction of the newest balls, but I am always hesitant on spending a lot of money if a ball is only going to last 100 games or so. I keep my equipment clean, and I haven't had any reaction problems from the reactive resin equipment. I am not partial to any one company; I think each company has their good and bad quality equipment. I am looking at some of the Storm and Hammer equipment, and would be interested in comments to the durability factor of the newer coverstocks.
Any help is appreciated.
